Faire vivre la

Factoring up the « French touch »

Malika Hind is the only Master Craftsman hair stylist in Pau, and has developed a signature concept that showcases know-how, French style.

She’s a strong-minded woman with exacting standards and she’s not afraid of showing it: of going “above and beyond”, which is what “Akhira” means.  With a salon in Pau, a second in Lourdes, a third soon to open on the Basque coast and international projects in the pipeline, Makila forges ahead with unwavering determination. “My aim is to develop an out-and-out luxury concept that combines high standards, customer focus, and a complete experience in the salon, according to very specific quality criteria. She nurtured and developed this idea over years of professional training – Professional Aptitude Certificate (CAP), Professional Diploma (BP) Master Diploma, and periods working with some of the great names in hairdressing, until she obtained the Master Craftsman diploma in 2016. But she doesn’t sit on her laurels; she’s too busy with her future projects. “Our hallmark is the salon experience – a process that starts out by taking time to do a comprehensive analysis based on morphology, psychology and type.”  She applies the values of wellbeing and loyalty as much to her staff as to her customers for whom she has developed a whole host of ideas.  Leading partner of Schwarzkopf Professional and partner to the luxury range Moroccanoil, she prefers to enhance her knowledge at economic conferences that fascinate her, rather than at hairstyling exhibitions. Her finely chosen words confirm an ambition and spirituality resulting from years of hard work and effort. “I try to be a trailblazer, I have a ball trying out new things and I really want to develop my concept. I’m looking for talented hair stylists who are passionate about hairdressing and share our values to come and join our team.”  If you think you’re a cut above the rest, give them a call!
