Laclau Créateurs – Cinna

Design-moi

Design me an icone

Laclau’s young manager, Georges Frantzis, has a great deal in common with Michel Roset, sole manufacturer-editor-distributor of made-in-France furniture and lead designer with Cinna, for they both believe firmly that “aesthetics will always win through”.

In 1981, the Laclau family made itself the talk of the town when it opened its first top-of-the range furniture store in the midst of Idron’s corn fields. In 2005, grandson Georges, at the head of the family business, inaugurated a trendier outlet showcasing the French brand Cinna, which has just celebrated its forty years of existence. Like them, Georges banks on quality, creativity and artistic savoir-faire. For him, it’s quite simple “If you want to stand out, you have to have your finger on the pulse of the latest in living trends, be tuned in to your clients, and offer objects designed to last. Cinna works with a fabulous pool of designers, such as Didier Gomez, Pascal Mourgue and Christian Werner who share that line of thinking.” A design aesthete born and bred amidst contemporary furniture, Georges offers a selection of deco pieces that are as pioneering as they are unexpected, from the famous Fatboy Edison the Petit lamp to the LC1 Armchair designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, and reproduced as an identical re-release by Cassina. The atmosphere of the showroom is an appetizing foretaste of the choice of elegance and style that you can make your own.
