L’institut se cache au fond d’un jardin verdoyant avec vue sur les Pyrénées. « Plutôt un cabinet de bien-être » précise sa créatrice, Tania Dufourmentel, bio-esthéticienne Dr. Hauschka et praticienne de massages bien-être.

« Ma vision de l’esthétique est le fruit de mon parcours » raconte Tania. Issue d’une lignée de chirurgiens, elle a grandi avec ceux qui ont fait le voeu de soigner. Pour elle, ce sera l’art de prendre soin. Elle s’installe à 21 ans en tant que socio-esthéticienne auprès des personnes fragilisées, « une expérience qui m’a confortée dans l’idée que la beauté est avant tout affaire de regard sur soi ». À 25 ans, elle ouvre un institut dans le Gers puis s’installe à Assat en mai 2015.

Son concept mêle « accueil sur-mesure, confidentialité et l’envie que mes clientes s’offrent un moment de vacances ». Grande cabine de soin baignée de lumière naturelle, matelas chauffant, large paréo pour le bien-être, coiffeuse à spots pour la mise en beauté, l’espace respire l’élégance et la beauté au naturel, à l’image de sa sélection de cosmétiques bio Dr. Hauschka, « une marque choisie pour son éthique et sa qualité ». Tania pense son métier autant qu’elle le pratique. Avec son massage signature, elle s’adapte à la cliente et « écoute autant avec les oreilles qu’avec le bout des doigts, pour une approche qui favorise le lâcherprise ». The art of caring

The beauty salon is hidden in a lush green garden with a view of the Pyrenees.  “Though it’s more a well-being salon,” says its founder, Tania Dufourmentel, a Dr. Hauschka organic beautician and massage therapist.

“I forged my idea of beauty over my career path,” explains Tania. And the art of massage, was a gift she had from birth. Coming from a family of surgeons, she grew up surrounded by people who had dedicated their lives to healing. For Tania, it was to be the art of caring. She set herself up when she was just 21 as a social beautician, working with vulnerable people, “an intense experience that made me even more convinced that beauty is all about how you see yourself.”  When she turned 25, she opened a salon in the Gers and later, with 20 years’ experience behind her, moved to Assat in May 2015.

Her concept is a blend of “personal welcome, exclusiveness, confidentiality and a desire for my clients to give themselves a break from it all.” A large therapy room bathed in natural light, a heated mattress, plush cushions, ample sarongs for well-being treatments, a spot-lit dressing table for beauty care and make-up; the salon exudes elegance and natural beauty.  Just like the exclusive selection of organic Dr. Hauschka cosmetics, “a brand I chose for its ethics and quality,” Tania explains. She doesn’t just do her job, she lives and breathes it. She adapts her own massage style to suit each client. “I listen with my ears just as much as I feel with my fingertips, and that kind of approach helps people let go so that they can manage stress and emotions,” she affirms.
